PUMA ENERGY EXTENDS SUPPORT TO YWAM

Puma Energy has extended its support to YWAM Medical Ship for another two years with a funding agreement signing of K1.6 million that took place in the ship earlier this evening.
This funding agreement signing gives Puma Energy’s total investment since 2015 to the YWAM Medical Ship to almost K7 million.

Puma Energy’s PNG Country Manager Jim Collings said their organization has a clear set of strategies on how they can create better health outcomes and YWAM Medical Ship aligns with their mission of Energizing Communities.

Collings said Puma Energy is privileged to be supporting an organization that helps to strengthen health in rural areas, while also providing volunteering opportunities for PNG health professionals and young people to develop new skills and have pride in building their nation.
YWAM PNG Patron Sir Rabbie Namaliu said partnerships creates many opportunities to better services and acknowledged Puma Energy for their support which will enable the ship to reach hundreds of remote communities over the next two years.

The MV YWAM PNG will spend the week in Port Moresby before sailing to Western Province this weekend for a collaborative outreach with Middle Fly District Health authorities.
In collaboration with local health authorities, YWAM MS has delivered over 1.5 million healthcare and training services in the Southern Region and Morobe Province since 2010, including direct care to over 200, 000 patients.
