Tooth brushing must be encouraged in the country in order to take care of one’s dental and oral hygiene.
During the celebration of National tooth brushing day, Dr. Polapoi Chalau says two parts in the body that are very essential are the eyes and teeth, and without them we will be handicap.
Dr. Chalau further elaborates that people must make it their duty to take care of their teeth by brushing them and keeping a fresh breath.
Tooth brushing is highly encouraged to be used twice a day, after breakfast and before going to sleep, and the tooth brush must be replace every three months for good health convenience.
Mills Dental Care Corporate Services Officer Samantha Somare says more awareness needs to be done to inform people of the importance of dental and oral health as well as encourage people to at least visit a dentist once a year.
Paying visit to a dental clinic may save you from different oral diseases with mouth cancer being one of them.
